Time passed by so quickly, don’t you think?

A few days ago we were just opening our Christmas gifts, and this time around probably as you read this, you’re preparing a bunch of fireworks to be used when the clock strikes 12.

Well, that’s how life is. Something that we must take to heart always as we make each and every moment meaningful and memorable.

Speaking of meaningful and memorable, how was your 2023 like?

I want you to take this time to reflect and come from a space of honesty and vulnerability, how was your year like?

What did you struggle about? What were the highs and lows? What changed you?

Know that everything happens for a reason, and you, reading this now, are exactly where you’re meant to be.

Ok, you can breathe now. Yes, it’s ok.

But before we proceed, take this time to congratulate yourself. Whatever you’ve been through, whatever you’re going through as of the moment, know that you made it till today and that’s such an achievement. You’re a fighter. A survivor. A winner. Good job!

It doesn’t end though as the year that was comes to a close.

It’s only the beginning of something new, and something even better for you perhaps.

With 2024 just around the corner, allow me to share with you the 5 questions you can reflect on to guide you through the upcoming year ahead, as you transition anew and journey towards your own #bestmeever .

  1. What did the previous year teach me?

Any experience, good or bad, teaches you a valuable lesson. Looking back, what did life want to teach you with everything that happened to you? Was it about setting boundaries? Choosing the people you surround yourself with? Moving on? Take those lessons to heart and know that each one will come in handy as you welcome the new year so that you don’t commit the same mistakes again. Remember: life can be such a strict teacher and you will experience the same painful experiences if you don’t learn from them over and over again. So don’t even go that way for next year. Haha!

2. What do I really want to achieve this year?

Emphasis on the word “really”. Being true to yourself, what’s the new milestone that you’re looking at? Have a clear vision of what you really want to achieve so you can anchor your plans on it solidly. Make sure that it’s totally meaningful and relevant to you so that it allows you to live your purpose accordingly. Don’t have a goal for the sake of having one. Choose what really resonates within.

3. What needs to change for me to achieve this?

A new and bigger goal requires not only a change in your action plans but also a change in your mindset and emotional state. This new journey requires a different version of you so think about this: what kind of person do you need to become to be able to achieve your goals accordingly? What mindset, behaviors, feelings and action plans do you need to modify to allow everything to fall into place seamlessly in your journey? Change is inevitable so do away with resistance and embrace the beauty of what may be unfamiliar and uncomfortable at first. Best if you can list them all down in your journal so you have a visual guide moving forward.

4. What kind of support do I honestly need?

Hear me out on this: there’s nothing wrong with asking for help. You’re only human. It doesn’t make you weak or less capable. It actually shows how strong and humble you are to recognize your own needs as you journey towards your best. So best to inquire within now: who or what can help you in your journey? Do you need a mentor? A coach? New business opportunity? Skills training? Choose what you feel is best for you and don’t be afraid to seek others for support if you know they can do wonders for you. Always remember though to express your gratitude and respect before, during and after you get their support because the relationships that you keep matter.

5. What should be my overall theme for this year?

Take time to imagine this: what will be your overall mantra for next year? Is it all about expansion? Breaking barriers? Transformation? Choose what’s best for you and how you want your 2024 narrative to become. This helps you align your actions accordingly to your overall theme by asking yourself each time you make a crucial decision: how will this contribute to (express your theme)? Knowing the impact of your actions will help you come up with sound decisions not merely based on impulse or heightened emotions. Just to share, my 2023 theme was all about expansion and it allowed me to expand my practice globally as I spoke in international conferences and won global awards, which were part of my goals for this year. For 2024, my overall theme is transformation, as I allow myself to evolve into a new version of my own #bestmeever .

There you go. I hope these questions can help guide you as you welcome this coming year with a bunch of positivity and possibilities.

Always remember, at the end of the day, no matter what the year has in store for all of us,
life goes on.
And so can we.
Happy New Year everyone!
Cheers to the best one yet!

Happy new year!
Which basically equates to a happy new you!
Hopefully.

We often make the new year as the perfect time to self-reflect and recalibrate there after.

I guess it’s that notion that we have to begin the year on a clean slate.

Which can mean reinventing one’s self in the process to become one’s own #bestmeever whatever that may look like.

However, truth be told, we need not wait for the new year to change anew.

To become the person we want to be.

Because in reality, we can start all over again at any given point in our lives.

So yes, this is your cue to reflect: what is my current space and what’s next for me?

Be sure to be clear about it so that you will be guided accordingly as you go through the rest of 2023, better than ever.

Now, the big question is: when do you begin?

Here are 5 signs that it’s time to start all over again in 2023:

1.) When things are not working out for you

Come from a space of honesty and ask yourself what’s not in alignment in your life? What’s causing unnecessary stress and chaos? Remember, as the saying goes, some things have to fall apart so that the right ones can fall into place. Maybe that’s telling you the same: that you’re not supposed to be in the same space that has become too small or too crowded for you. Time for that personal overhaul.

2.) When things are going really smoothly for you

I know. This may be the exact opposite of the one I mentioned earlier. But so as not to confuse you, what this basically means is that if you encounter a number of coincidences that seem to be stepping stones towards where you want to be, take them as your sign. Be brave enough to level up. The Universe is letting you know that you are very much supported and loved.

3.) When you’re having doubts

Be mindful of your own feelings and emotions. If doubts are starting to creep in, whether it’s about yourself, your work, your relationship or whatever else matters to you, pause first and assess the situation. Then based on your reflection, begin anew with what will work best for you. And yes, feeling confused at times is normal. What’s essential is what you do there after.

4.) When you have prepared for it fully

You worked hard. Stayed committed all through out. Did everything you can with all that you have in the last few months or years. So what’s stopping you from turning the page and embarking on a new adventure you’ve always dreamed of? You are now built for the battle. Conquer it. There’s no perfect timing really; only the perfect decision to commit to one’s self and one’s growth. You are ready.

5.) When nothing seems to be happening

The world around you might seem too fast paced at time while you seem stuck at present. That’s your sign to get yourself out of that rut. Learn what you must, do what you can. But remember to keep moving forward after mastering the stillness around you. Because that space was actually preparing you for something far greater than you imagined.

If you reached this point then most probably you could have related to at least one of these.

If you did, congratulations.

This is your sign.

Welcome 2023 with a bang.

Time to start all over again.
Because change will always be beautiful.

First things first:

Happy new year everyone!

I hope that you are just as excited as I am to welcome 2022 with open arms, mind and heart

Don’t you just love the gift of new beginnings?

I mean knowing that we made it this far, it’s not game over for us.

Life goes on. It always does.

So do away with being anxious and worried about the things to come. Remember, no matter how challenging last year may have been, things can be different now.

As we bid 2021 good bye, it’s time for us to embrace this new chapter of ours with much hope and positivity.

So it’s only fitting that we start what we have on our bucket list and our new year’s resolutions.

I actually started my day taking a long walk, enjoying the first sunrise of the year in this beautiful beach that I am at.

I took time to reflect and own the space I was in (and it was good thing that the beach was not that crowded then (see picture for reference). It’s so nice to feel grounded and empowered to be able to start the year on a clean slate as I thought of all the things I can begin with this year.

I want to share that experience with you guys.

So January 1st of 2022, allow me to share with you the 22 things you can start on this 2022:

  1. Start dreaming even bigger and be willing to take bigger risks to make those dreams come true
  2. Start being more comfortable with the unpleasantries of growing instead of complaining
  3. Start taking note of things that went wrong and seeing the good in them every single day
  4. Start giving firmer NO’s to people who don’t just respect boundaries
  5. Start on a new passion project that brings about much excitement
  6. Start being more mindfully connected with people who have the same frequency as yours and those who bring out the best in you
  7. Start saying YES more to bigger opportunities that scare you
  8. Start taking care of yourself more guilt-free
  9. Start investing more on personal and professional growth because those have long lasting impact across different aspects of our lives
  10. Start creating more passive income
  11. Start being comfortable with long pauses and hard stops when needed
  12. Start prioritizing your health and well-being so you can help others do the same as well
  13. Start being intentional about continuous learning (whether of a new skill or sharpening an existing one) so that growth never stops
  14. Start giving back to others because you can always start with what you have and who you are as is.
  15. Start embarking on new adventures that will allow you to get to know yourself better
  16. Start building a new, meaningful relationship with yourself and others
  17. Start owning your space by speaking up more and just letting your authentic self be, unmindful of the judgments and worries
  18. Start appreciating yourself more as you grow at your own space and pace
  19. Start new positive habits that will allow you to enjoy life more in the long run as you fall in love with yourself more and more too
  20. Start letting go of things, emotions, people, mindsets and behaviors that no longer bring you genuine joy, inspiration or growth
  21. Start making better choices today that will make your future #bestmeever self proud

There you go.

So what will you start on this year?

Whatever it is, start with all your heart.

Claiming this happier, healthier and more beautiful 2022 for all of us as we own our space.

When you’re ready to start on your journey towards becoming your own #bestmeever , message me.

Let’s make this year the best one yet.

As a whole, 2021 was a learning experience for me.

And that’s an understatement.

I mean I can’t say that it was a really awesome year because hey, the pandemic has taken a toll on all of us (mental health, relationships, business among others) and it’s not really easy for a travel bug like me to be oftentimes stuck at home because of travel restrictions during the lockdown.

On the other hand though, I am extremely grateful because to date, I am able to remain healthy and genuinely happy in my space and I am still blessed with a whole lot of opportunities to grow both on a personal and professional note. Taking these in consideration, I would say that 2021 was not that bad either.

Candidly speaking after seeing the big picture both ways, I totally believe that it taught me a whole lot of important life lessons which I need to take to heart as the new year approaches. I think they will all be quite useful as I (and you guys reading this) make our new year’s resolutions.

Allow me to share with you the 21 life lessons I learned in 2021 as we welcome the new year ahead:

  1. No matter what happens around me that is beyond my control, I can always choose how to react towards each.
  2. Tragedies and desperate situations bring out the best and worst in people. However, please take note that whatever comes out, is still a matter of choice.
  3. At times, pausing with one’s routine can make way for bigger progress , rather than forcing yourself into it.
  4. No matter how good you are or how pure your intentions are, there will always be people who will mock you and try to pull you down. Don’t ever let them dim your light. That’s how they react when blinded by their own pains and insecurities.
  5. Your personal pains and problems do not grant you the right to hurt other people just because you experienced the same before. That’s revenging on the innocent.
  6. Doing one small thing that leads you closer to your goals will always be better than just planning for bigger ones.
  7. You are free to celebrate yourself, your wins and your milestones, regardless of how people may react towards them. It’s all about you and they’re merely spectators to your growth. Consider it not as arrogance on your end but rather jealousy from theirs, as long as your intentions are clear.
  8. People will want to invest in you as much as you invest on yourself, your well-being and your growth.
  9. It’s not your environment or the situation you’re in that limits your growth; it’s your mindset and heart set.
  10. You don’t owe anyone any explanation each and every time you walk away from a toxic relationship or a space that does not bring out the best in you.
  11. You cannot blame others for situations you have caused yourself.
  12. There are no right or wrong decisions as long as you take responsibility for them because either way, you learn when you make yourself accountable.
  13. Never let money (or your issues about it) taint your reputation because it’s priceless to begin with.
  14. Admitting you’re not ok is one thing; doing something about it is another. It’s all about reaching out to the right people with full vulnerability and humility. You owe that to yourself.
  15. 3P’s that determine your progress during trying times: Patience, perseverance and passion.
  16. You spend the same amount of effort in worrying and acting on things: the first one gives you more problems to resolve, the second one, a solution to what you were complaining about.
  17. Keeping your word allows you to keep your integrity and credibility intact.
  18. Always be open about how you feel. You may not have that opportunity to share what’s inside the next time around.
  19. If you really want something, you will do anything and everything to make it happen. Your excuses represent your level of interest.
  20. Everything else becomes a little more difficult when you’re not healthy so treat your health and well-being more importantly
  21. Today is the best time to try. Tomorrow is the perfect excuse to try harder again if needed.

So there you go, I hope these life lessons help you in your personal journey towards becoming your own #bestmeever this coming 2022.

I look forward to journeying with you all and celebrating you and your growth along the way.

Thank you 2021 for the life lessons.

Happy New Year guys!

2022, we are ready.
