Fact: You can’t be too ambitious if you’re 100% committed to your success.
Pursuing your biggest dreams isn’t that easy always.
Admittedly, there are a lot of challenges and struggles before you reach your goals.
Take it from me who was told time and again by a lot of people (seriously, I lost count) when I was starting my career from scratch that going global as a professional coach and as an author “was too big of a dream”.
For others yes.
But for me, it was worth the try.
However, what I realized was that you don’t have to stress yourself out and become too anxious in the process of fulfilling your ambition.
And yes, depression and success don’t necessary have to go hand in hand.
The solution though is not to minimize your goals, but rather, empower yourself to become bigger than your worse fears and anxieties.
Your biggest “WHY” will keep you grounded when the going gets tough. Always be inspired by that life changing reason that made you decide to embark on your awesome journey towards becoming the person you’re meant to be: your own #bestmeever .
The more you resist, the more it persists. So be open to changes, challenges and a whole lot of uncertainties in between. Instead of resisting your journey, embrace it fully and ask yourself what you can learn from each and every experience that you encounter along the way.
Ok, repeat this after me: “I am doing perfectly well.” Celebrate small wins because they are beautiful reminders that you’re getting closer to where you want to be. Whether it’s getting a random compliment, learning a new skill or simply making it through a difficult day, give yourself a pat on the back. You deserve it for stepping up and pursuing your own biggest dreams. Not everyone can do that and that gives you another reason to celebrate. Affirm yourself as often as possible.
Like seriously: comparing yourself with others is one of the biggest causes of anxiety. So please stop. Do yourself a favor and focus on yourself and your own growth. Do what you must, give your best always and stay committed to the results you want to achieve. Eyes on the prize, always.
Find your happy space. Be with people who make you feel loved and supported. Read about the inspiring stories of your role models. Look back gratefully at how far you’ve gone since you’ve started and recognize how much you’ve grown in the process. Create an environment that will help you thrive and make you realize that you don’t have to worry about what lies ahead. You got this!
There you go. I hope these inspire you to follow your heart as you pursue your biggest dreams.
You deserve it.
[et_pb_section admin_label=”section”] [et_pb_row admin_label=”row”] [et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text admin_label=”Text”]Life Changing.
The other day, I woke up being told that I made it at #38 among the Top 100 Life Coach Website, Blogs and Influencers in 2021 globally.
My heart is beyond grateful and I am so honored to be included in this list.
So I got a lot of congratulations and comments telling me that I was already successful and that all my hard work is finally paying off.
And getting all those made me think hard: was I really successful?
If you would define success as being a 6-7 digit professional coach, having multiple best selling books and global features and interviews, numerous highly happy and successful clients, having a number of brand collaborations and paid workshops and talks left and right, while having a solid growing number of followers and supporters, then I guess I would say yes, I am successful based on those standards, solely based on facts and with my humility in tact.
However, coming from a space of honesty, I defined my own success this way:
Being able to have the time and means to pursue my passion and live my dreams.
Because at the end of the day, my life isn’t about what I can do, or what I have or what I have achieved.
It’s about how much I have allowed myself to just be.
And mind you, the entire journey wasn’t easy.
Yup, what you see now is just the tip of the ice berg of how a successful life coach can be like.
But what is not seen at the onset is how I had to spend a number of sleepless nights and days just as long, just to work on my craft to be able to deliver my key results consistently as I help others become their own #bestmeever .
1.) Build your credentials
Always be hungry to learn more about your craft. Explore multiple disciplines. Never be resistant to something unfamiliar. Be humble enough to start from scratch. As for me, even as a Global Master Coach, to this day, I still continue to study and get certified by reputable coaching institutions as I work on my rank promotion in the International Coach Federation. Never feel bad when you invest in yourself and your dreams. Oh and yes, I still have my own Master Level Coach as I mentor other coaches, even at present. Choose your mentor well and be willing to invest on them. My mindset: mistakes are too expensive for me and I can’t afford them so I would rather invest wisely on myself and my growth and on my mentor whom I have seen deliver the results I want.
2.) Strengthen your credibility
Ok, being good at what you do is one thing. Letting others know that you are is another. How much time have you spent in establishing yourself as an authority in your space? Take time to give high-value talks, write articles, post consistently, and most importantly, practice and ensure that you are able to deliver expected results from a professional perspective. Don’t just settle on having a certification or title: your credibility must be supported by your own body of work and the results which you have consistently (and successfully) given.
3.) Don’t ever make money as the basis of your practice
Always remember your why. Don’t ever make a client’s ability to pay as the basis of your performance as a coach. Whether it’s a paying client or a pro bono thing, always give your best. Don’t shortchange yourself and the client. The key here is to be able to hone your skills and test your own coaching programs time and again so that you would know if its doing its work or if you’re really hitting the right market. Treat everyone as a beautiful investment. After all, seeing someone else grow is such a rewarding experience so just make life coaching as a lifestyle so that it comes out naturally and not based on anything monetary. Oh, and client testimonials are priceless and referrals from them can open even beautiful doors for you in the long run.
4.) Never let rejections dishearten you
Fact: you can’t please everyone and not everyone is meant to be your coachee. And guess what? That’s ok. Take each and every NO as an opportunity to start fresh. Don’t ever take rejections too hard. It’s not always about you. In my case, trust me, when I was starting, I have gotten a lot. And in my current space, till now, I still do. But I’ve realized that it’s ok and I always try to learn from the experience and grow from it there after. Remember, if I hadn’t experienced all those rejections before while growing up, there will be no #bestmeever : no global coaching platform, no best selling books, no TED talks , no brand collaborations, no international podcast — and the list goes on.
5.) Be willing to take risks
Don’t let your fears get in the way of your dreams. So if you really want to make it as a life coach, embrace the uncomfortable. Don’t overthink opportunities given to you, instead, just go for them and make sure that you maximize each one along the way. Stop trying to fit in a mold and just allow yourself to grow as you are. Become that beautiful disruption that you are meant to be. That was what really worked for me: to be a Unicorn among the life coaches from all over the world. In your case, what should you allow yourself to be? Remember that authenticity can do wonders for you, big time. You are worth that risk.
So there, I hope that wherever you are in your journey as a life coach, these tips will help you become more successful in the process.
Thank you for being part of mine.
[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column] [/et_pb_row] [/et_pb_section]Nowadays, with the pandemic, among others, times seem to be really challenging.
Ok, let me correct myself: times ARE challenging. Period.
I know that at some point, we all have experienced doubting ourselves and losing hope in the process as we become anxious about what tomorrow holds for us.
And I think that we have learned based on experience, having that kind of behavior wouldn’t allow us to thrive in our space.
Because truth be told, more than ever, we need to have a positive mindset as we remain optimistic about what lies ahead.
Nothing is permanent in this world. Same goes for whatever is bothering us now. So hold on to that fact that someday, all will be well. Having something to look forward to allows you to have a better perspective about life at present.
You can’t undo the past, even if you tried. But you can always work on your present and create the future that you want from scratch. Remember that what can still be will always be more beautiful than your what could have been.
Choose to see what went right. Big or small, celebrate your wins. You deserve to acknowledge yourself and your hard work. They will inspire you to do more in the process as you become your own #bestmeever.
Choose the company you keep. Remember, your immediate environment plays a big role in the way you think and react to circumstances in your life. So be mindful of the kind of people you allow in your space. Check on red flags every now and then. You’re not obliged to accommodate any form of negativity or toxic behavior at the end of the day.
At the end of the day, no matter how it went, there will always be something to be grateful for. Train your mind to look for those. That will help you realize how beautiful life still is amidst trying times.
There you have it. I hope these help you keep your hopes high as we journey together towards a brighter future ahead.
Here’s an interesting fact:
At times, what really makes a goal hard to achieve is not the lack of skills nor opportunities.
It’s the lack of self-confidence.
That feeling of not being worthy, not being good enough.
These are walls we built by ourselves.
They hold us back from becoming the person we are meant to be: our very own #bestmeever .
Let’s face it: it’s not that easy to be truly confident when we all have experienced a lot of down times in our lives.
It’s over and done with. So why hold on to whatever painful experience you’ve had up to this day? You have a choice to start all over again as you learn from what initially broke you so you can have your own breakthrough. You’re not defined by your past; you’re defined by the choices you make there after.
Somewhere along the way, you have succeeded in your own right. Celebrate those wins. If you’ve done it before, why worry about not being able to achieve the same now?
You’ve survived and made it this far. So why doubt yourself? Wear your battle scars proud. And give yourself that much-deserved pat on the back.
What normally freaks us out is the fact that we don’t have a plan to back us up as we pursue our goals, coming from a space of unfamiliarity. By carefully listing down all your options and specific steps on how you can reach your goals, you become more confident in the process knowing that somehow, you have it all figured out.
Be your own best fan. Tell yourself all the words you long to hear. Know that you are truly great within, you just have to consistently remember that, no matter what. The thing is: you’re actually the best person to remind yourself too.
There you go. I hope that these tips will enable you to level up your confidence so you can finally pursue your dreams with the greatest of ease.
Enjoy your journey as you break free confidently!
Fact: We all want to become our own #bestmeever
The thing is though, it takes a whole lot of work, commitment, trust and love to journey within.
To heal from the past, accept the now and gain clarity of our biggest visions in life as we discover self-empowerment takes time (and effort, mind you).
In some cases though, it takes longer for others because of these things that prevent them from having a smooth journey towards their best.
Ok, your journey, is yours alone. It’s totally different from anyone else’s in this planet. So every time you compare (and contrast) your progress with that of others, you allow yourself to get distracted. In the end, no matter how your journey goes, know that it’s meant to teach you important lessons so you can own your best version eventually.
2. Stressing over the little things
No journey is perfect. And guess what? The little bumps along the way make each one even more exciting. So stop sweating over the small stuff. It’s a waste of time and energy. I mean details matter and all and it wouldn’t hurt to double check along the way. However, in the event that there are unforeseen circumstances where things don’t go as planned, if it’s not life changing, just take a deep breath and let go. Nothing is worth more than your inner peace.
3. Expectations
Never attach your own happiness to mere expectations. Instead of conditioning yourself that you will be happy when you achieve this and that, why not try to be happy in the now, with all things as is, as you are. There are so many things to be grateful and happy about at present so allow yourself to grow in harmony with the now.
4. Pleasing others too much
You are not every one’s servant at their beck and call so stop thinking and acting like one. Remember, you also have the obligation to take care of yourself and give yourself what is due. So start saying ‘NO’ to others so you can say ‘YES’ more to yourself and your growth. At the end of the day, even if you don’t get the nod of others, the best person to please will always be yourself. And that will always be more than enough.
5. Putting yourself last
Making yourself a priority is one of the best gifts you can give to yourself. There’s totally nothing wrong about considering your own needs and wants. Remember, taking care of yourself first will also allow you to take care of others more eventually. It has to start from you though as you give yourself the love and affection that you willingly give to others. How can you give what you don’t have? Self-empowerment comes first my dear.
I hope this list will help you catch yourself as you journey towards your best.
I look forward to seeing your own #bestmeever unfold soon.

I vividly remember the time when I was still embarking on my own self-discovery journey towards becoming my own #bestmeever. I asked myself this question: who do I resonate with the most? Top of mind then was Oprah Winfrey.

I grew up watching her talk shows and I have always been fascinated by the way she’s able to change lives in an instant as she speaks. Taking that to heart, I knew a part of me wanted to be like her someday. So I did further research and found out one of her secrets to her success.
She had her own coach. And that moment, I immediately knew, I had to have mine. That marked the beginning of my journey towards becoming a Global Master Coach, my #bestmeever.
So after several certifications and accreditation, countless number of hours of training and actual professional practice, numerous clients worldwide with amazing results, I can now finally say that I am living my “Oprah Winfrey” dream: inspiring and changing lives as I speak. This time around, as Coach Myke Celis.
So that was the reason why I got my first ever coach back then. Along the way though, I realized more reasons why it’s advantageous to journey towards becoming the person you’re meant to be with a coach. Allow me to share with you my top five reasons:

Discover And Win Over Limiting Beliefs. Roughly 80% of our belief system is formed at age 0-12 years old. So if during that time you experienced a difficult childhood, got bullied, so on and so forth – these actually shaped the way you react towards people, things and situations at present. By getting a professional coach, you will be able to understand where these limiting beliefs are coming from, how they manifest at present and how you can overcome them. Imagine how amazing it will be if you get to journey through life without any excess baggage!
Gain Clarity. Remember when we were kids, we used to have a crystal clear vision of who we were and what we wanted to be. But then growing up, life happened. And we got lost and confused along the way. Getting a coach will allow you to understand your personal journey better and identify blind spots which may have been hindering your progress. Having a clear picture of who you are now and what you’re meant to be allows you to journey through life more with ease.
Love, Accept And Nourish Your Authentic Self. Journeying with a coach allows you to discover more about yourself, understand yourself better and allow you to embrace yourself and love yourself fully. By doing this, you enable yourself to live a life free of self judgement and self doubts – a critical situation that will empower you to become the person you’ve always wanted to be.
Embrace Changes Beautifully. Change is inevitable. However, the most common reaction a person has towards change is either fear or resistance. So whether you’re having difficulty in aging, changing relationship status, shifting careers or transitioning to what you’re meant to be, having a coach will come in handy as you are able to strategically plan your action steps to deal and thrive amidst change.

Become the best version of yourself. If given the chance, what would you rather be? A highly successful businessman? A famous actor? A world-renowned coach? The next question is…why not? No dream can be too big when you are able to take responsibility for your actions and stretch yourself beyond limits which you never thought possible.
All these and more are possible though when you choose to get yourself a coach who knows all your strengths and can inspire you to use them to achieve your grandest goals. One who empowers you to focus on your purpose and beautiful possibilities as you become your best.
I can still add to this list but hopefully this will inspire you enough to take action and give yourself what you truly deserve:

So finally you’re ready to get your own coach!
To invest in yourself.
In your happiness and growth.
To become the person you’re meant to be.
Your own #bestmeever .
I am very excited for you in your journey.
Allow me to share with you some of the things you should consider when you engage the services of a Coach. This is to ensure that you get the most of your investment and you get the results you want and deserve.
Just so you know, before I became the Global Master Coach that I am now coaching celebrities, top executives and highly successful people world wide, I also invested in my coaches. Time, money (swear, huge sums!), effort, and a whole lot of commitment and love.
And to this day, I still have my own coaches supporting me while #unicorning in my personal journey.
Because learning (and growing) should be a continuous process. And I believe in paying premium for quality. I didn’t want to short change myself (nor my clients!). No regrets when I started embarking (and investing) in my own journey towards my #bestmeever .
So yeah, are you excited to embark in yours?
Here are the 5 C’s to consider when getting your own coach:
Coaching deals with human life. One wrong processing and it can create havoc altogether. So please be mindful in getting a coach who is highly equipped in his practice. Find out if the person is certified and trained by a LEGIT coaching organization /academy, what are his affiliations (example: International Coach Federation (ICF) etc.) ? Check on the institutes they graduated from, the quality of the graduates, their rank as a coach, their affiliations and their professional track record.
Let’s be honest, nowadays, it’s easy to get a certification to be a life coach (or whatever type of coach) online. Not to mention very cheap too. But what differentiates coaches is their actual practice after getting certified: how long have they been doing it PROFESSIONALLY (meaning they’re paid to coach people) and what are the results they are producing for their clients.
At the end of the day, know that certifications (whether local or international) are just the “entry points”. The real deal is when all theories in paper are put to powerful practice accordingly and whatever title given is justified fully based on results.

Thank God for Google.
Research about your prospective coach. Check on his/her clients.
Are there note worthy testimonials from actual paying clients who got the results they wanted?
Has he/she been featured as a subject matter expert in the industry? Does he get interviewed by media across various platforms and is considered as a thought leader in his practice? What exceptional achievements prove that he is actually thriving in his practice? Does he create his own ground breaking content? Is his practice strategically focused?
Get a coach who walks the talk. And leaves a trail of amazing results wherever he goes.
Personal growth is not a one time, big time thing. It’s a continuous journey. Find yourself a coach who is willing to journey with you through thick and thin. Someone who won’t give up on you even if you are at the brink of doing so. Find someone who will go the extra mile so you can become your own #bestmeever .
Through ups and downs, your coach must always be around.
And that takes genuine love for what he/she does and towards the client as well. Yup, this can’t be faked.

Choose a coach whom you can TRUST fully. It’s 100% or nothing my dear. You have to be comfortable with the person enough for you to fully disclose even the most uncomfortable things to discuss so that he/she will be able to help you process them fully and clearly.
Find a coach whose heart beats in unison with yours.
Chemistry sessions will allow you to get a feel of your prospective coach and see if there’s a match. If things don’t work out initially, it’s ok. Know that there’s a specific coach for a specific person. You just have to find that one who makes you feel at peace and inspires you to be your best.
Every client differs from one another. So coaching strategies will differ as well. Find someone who knows to adjust to your wants and needs.
Know that in coaching, the client should be in control. Because that will allow the client to take responsibility from within. It is the coach’s job to bring that version out.
Ask about his methods, his programs, his expertise and self-made tool kits. See if his coaching pathway is in harmony with yours. Remember that coaching is not exactly a one-size fits all deal.
So there. I hope these help.
You are the best investment you can make.

So make sure that your coach can make results happen for you, with your commitment and action as well, exponentially.
Choose well.
