You’re happy.
Great.

That’s a very wonderful space to be in right now.

Maybe you’ve just healed from your past. Or achieved a new milestone. Or practicing new habits. that help you see the brighter side of things.

Whatever you’re doing, I am so glad it’s working for you.

I have always believed that genuine happiness should always be the main consideration when making life-changing decisions or pursuing one’s dreams and goals.

Being in that state of happiness actually works to one’s advantage.

So imagine, what if you can even be happier than you are now?

What if we can take that joy a notch higher? How different do you think you’re life would be?

Even more amazing I suppose.

I guess it’s all about adding that extra “oomph”… that “er” after the things that you’ve already been made familiar with in your journey.

Allow me to share with you the 5 ways on how to be happier in your space:

  1. Try harder

If you know you can do more, do better. Don’t just settle for what’s easy. Treat the journey you have now as something that’s both empowering and exciting and allow yourself to grow in the process by humbly mastering all the challenges along the way. Give each one another try, this time with a little more effort, and see how that changes your results and how you feel about it initially.

2. Dream bigger

Nothing is impossible for a person who believes. Whatever your #bestmeever may look like, go for it. Aim higher. You’ve already made it this far. You can definitely go further, only if you allow your mind and heart to visualize bigger possibilities.

3. Become healthier

Take care of your over all wellness and well-being by only allowing people, things and situations that will contribute wonderfully to your health and happiness. Never take your health for granted and try at least doing one extra thing that will have your future self thank you at present.

4. Spend quality time with loved ones longer

Create new memories. Grow in harmony with people who make you feel so alive and make life worth living. When your heart overflows with gratitude and love, not only because of these people you choose to have in your space but also from within, you will be able to find more joy in even the most random things.

5. Be wiser.

Learn from your mistakes. Grow from them. Don’t let them define you. Instead, use them as stepping stones towards your own success. Remember, experience is the best teacher and regardless of whether it’s good or bad, it’s helping you acquire the knowledge and skills you need to push further in life. Just take them to heart.

You see, happiness is a matter of choice.

And by choosing to do (and be) all these things mentioned here, you allow yourself to be happier.

Time to take that happiness of yours to the next level.
Because you still can.

Happiness is a matter of choice.

And that’s a fact.

You see, things may not always go as planned and we might find ourselves disappointed in the process once in a while.

However, it doesn’t mean that we don’t have a choice to see beyond unfortunate situations.

A lot of times we have read time and again about tips on how to be happy.

However, what we tend to forget is that before we can even make happiness a habit, we must first consider where we associate it.

Let me tell you this now:

Stop associating happiness with things that have yet to come or happen.

Remove the context of attaching happiness to a goal, a person, a new relationship, an event which hasn’t arrived yet.

That’s the only way you can truly appreciate the now and come up with your own happy habits.

So once you’ve made that choice to be fully present in the moment, check out these happy habits you can create so that you always start and end your day with a smile.

It’s actually a continuation of the habits of genuinely happy people list I made before.

Why? because we can always have room for happy habits that make us smile and our hearts, overflow.

1.) Lend a helping hand

No one is too powerless to help others in need. A simple kind gesture can have a big impact on someone else’s life (and yours as well). Never underestimate your own ability to change someone’s life in an instant. Helping out does not always have to be grand always; even the smallest gestures count. What matters is the intention behind and how you can turn that to inspiration to create even bigger impact in the lives of others there after.

2.) Declutter your space

A beautiful space can be quite inspiring. Oftentimes, your space reflects your overall state so make sure that you do away with whatever no longer serves a purpose and keep those which continuously inspire you. Having a clean, well-kept space allows you to focus on what matters most: your well-being, happiness and your goals.

3.) Check in with yourself regularly

Allow yourself to acknowledge how you feel. Dn’t run away from your emotions. Instead, openly embrace them and then work around them there after. By recognizing them, you are able to keep yourself grounded and centered at all times, which helps make you genuinely happy and anxiety free, something that’s very timely amidst the pandemic.

4.) Let go of negative thoughts and grudges

Any form of negativity weighs you down and holds you back from becoming your own #bestmeever . So by consistently allowing yourself to let go of them, you create more space for more beautiful and inspiring things to come into your life as you become the person you’re meant to be.

5.) Amplify your strengths

It’s always such a pleasurable experience doing what you know you’re genuinely good at. Take time to practice every single day and allow yourself to confidently showcase your skills to the rest of the world. Sharing your gifts can help inspire others as well who are struggling with working on theirs.

I hope that these tips can help you build happy habits that work for you.

Looking forward to seeing you become happier in the days to come.

Question: Are you genuinely happy?

Imagine yourself waking up every single day, with a smile on your face that lasts long after the sun has set.

That immensely light feeling that you are motivated to be your #bestmeever always and allow others to be inspired by your presence.

Truth be told, happiness is a state of mind. And it can be achieved by creating your very own happiness habits to ensure that you come from a space of joy always.

I have always been an advocate of mental health and wellness that is why practicing what I preach, I always incorporate these things in my daily routine to ensure that my own happiness is always at its peak.

Allow me to share with you these 5 habits of genuinely happy people, like myself, so that you can own your space as you make your heart smile:

  1. Choosing the company you keep

Who do you surround yourself with? Are you inspired to grow to the fullest in your current circle? Or are they limiting your potentials? If I may be candid about it, choose people who are good for your heart. No need to suffer in silence. Give yourself the kind of company that you deserve.

2. Practice gratefulness randomly

Everywhere I go, I oftentimes find myself randomly thanking the heavens for all my blessings, big and small. It’s all about making that conscious effort to just take a step back and reflect about how beautiful life is in general, regardless of what happens around me. I also keep a gratitude journal where I list all the things I am thankful for at the end of the day. Counting your blessings can do great wonders for your heart, mind and soul.

3. Self-Care is a must

Knowing when to stop, when to pamper yourself and allowing yourself to just be is key to maximizing your own growth. Being kinder, a little more loving and considerate to yourself will allow you journey through life with less stress as you focus on what matters more: your own happiness along the way.

4. Pursuing your goals

Do something every single day that will take you closer to achieving your biggest dreams. Big or small, every step counts. Know that you have what it takes to reach your goals, all of which, you’re very much deserving of to begin with. Having something bigger and better to look forward to allows your heart to anticipate with joy.

5. Be present in the moment

Be 100% present wherever you are now, with whatever you do. Don’t let the noise of the outside world make you forget to savor the moment you are in, as you grow to the person you’re meant to be in your current space. Enjoy the process, always, in all ways.

There you go. I hope these habits of mine will allow your heart to smile wider in the coming days.

Stay happy and inspired guys.
