Let me tell you this straight:
It’s ok to be scared.
In fact, it’s quite normal to feel that way towards certain things, people and situations.
The unfamiliar makes us feel that way alot.
Because we always want to be in control of everything around (and within) us.
However, that can’t always be the case.
Because truth be told, there are a lot of things beyond our control.
And these things are teaching us to let go and just trust the process.
I know, easier said than done.
But guess what, you can do just that even if you’re scared.
You can still choose to go for what makes your heart skip a beat.
You can still chase your dreams and make them come true.
You can still start all over again from scratch.
You can still become your own #bestmeever .
What if, what you’re afraid of
….was the thing you needed to face so that you can finally move on and forward from a situation that is keeping you stuck and unhappy for the longest time?
…was meant to make you realize your own shortcomings so you can address them accordingly and become better eventually?
…can teach you valuable lessons you need in order to thrive in your next chapter?
…is a reflection of who and what you truly are within?
….can lead you to your biggest breakthrough only if you don’t let it break you in the process?
After reflecting on all these, will you still allow yourself to be stopped by your fears?
I hope not.
You only have this one lifetime to make things right. So don’t be afraid to go the distance and discover what lies beyond what you’re afraid of.
Because at the end of the day, your faith in yourself should always be bigger than your fears.
Keep going. Bravely.
